The purpose my first mobile development was to test the features that appfurnace provided. I tested textboxes, labels, images, image buttons, scroll areas, embedded videos and gps location.

The areas the really interested me were the gps location and image buttons. These quickly moved on to become the foundation for my second mobile development.
